Cultural heritage includes archives, a valuable resource to be preserved and known among people to acquire the recognition it deserves. ICCROM would like to adhere to the initiative "Get Inspired by Archives" and promote the importance of archives, particularly now, when cultural heritage is increasingly at risk.

ICCROM is an intergovernmental organization dedicated to the conservation of cultural heritage worldwide through five main areas of activity: Training, Information, Research, Cooperation and Advocacy. ICCROM works at the international and governmental level, and with institutions and professionals on the ground to engage and inform new generations of upcoming professionals and the general public with an interest in heritage.
